Some general information about land:
- We differ between 2 types of land, island estate and mainland.
- Mainland is owned by Lindenlabs, you pay the monthly tier (we prefer to call it rent) there. Mainland is usually laggy, full of ugly builds, full of red NO-ENTRY lines, that make the socalled community a zoo of barriers and no fun to navigate, support is through a slow ticket system unless you own at least 1/2 region. The only advantage is that in certain sizes it can be less in price. Usually our rental offers on mainland lots are much lower than the tier payment though.
- Islands are generally better maintained than mainland and with less visual extortion. The separation of the sims into commercial or residential land keeps the lag down in residential sims. The main reason for this are the covenants, which are for everyone's good. Basic maintenance and support is through the estate owners, who can in many cases react on the spot on a situation. NO ENTRY lines do not exist on our islands, you can freely navigate them. You only pay for the meters you really use, not for tier steps. You do not need a pay account for our land, still you have nearly the same rights as any landowner.
- OnArt keeps rules and regulations to a minimum. Most problems will be handled on an individual basis. The main rule is: Keep it nice. As long as there are no complaints from your neighbours, we will not complain either.
